While all eyes in and around Ann Arbor in terms of cornerback recruiting are on the Ohio duo of Aaron Scott and Bryce West, Michigan football is making inroads with yet another four-star defensive back at the corner position.
Hailing from Nashville (Tennessee) CPA, 2024 four-star cornerback Ondre Evans is whittling his list of college football suitors. He has broken it down to his top five contenders. Rated the No. 84 player in the country via On3’s proprietary rankings, Evans revealed he is considering only Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and NC State going forward.
Speaking of Michigan to On3’s Chad Simmons, Evans said: “Coach Steve Clinkscale develops guys. He is a great coach and he has some of the best in college football playing for him right now at Michigan. We have a good relationship too. Then, you have coach Jim Harbaugh. He is a great head coach with a very good staff there.”
4-star CB Ondre Evans is down to five schools.
