Four-star tight end Damarion Witten announced the final five schools left in his recruitment on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-4 tight end out of Cleveland, Ohio is rated the No. 8 overall prospect in the state and the No. 13 tight end in the country for the 2024 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. Texas made the cut for his top schools along with Ohio State, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Oregon.
Witten has two official visits scheduled throughout the month of June to Kentucky and Ohio State. Texas extended an offer to Witten in March and are still working to schedule a visit.
On3’s recruiting prediction machine currently lists Ohio State as the heavy favorite in Witten’s recruitment.
