Andrew Crawford, the No. 18 ranked 2024 combo guard, lives in the Buffs’ backyard and has been developing a strong relationship with head coach Tad Boyle’s staff.
The ThunderRidge (Littleton) senior took an official visit to CU last October, was offered in December and recently returned to Boulder for the Buffaloes’ high school team camp, per Adam Munsterteiger of BuffStampede.
“I have been under the weather a little bit the past couple weeks but I still had a great outing at CU’s camp,” Crawford told BuffStampede. “I love it up there. They really like me and have always shown me great hospitality.”
Crawford, who is also being recruited by Northwestern and Stanford, is now nearing a commitment. He’ll continue speaking with different college coaching staffs across the country this summer and he plans on announcing his pledge on his birthday, Oct. 14, according to Munsterteiger.
One of the biggest stories at @UANextBHoops this weekend has been the emergence of @KCRunGMC Andrew Crawford.
Fluid 6-6 lefty who can handle and pass. Made 3 threes this morning as well.
Should be a long line of high-majors if he keeps trending in the right direction. pic.twitter.com/JOy5ETl92u
