NFL Network analyst Adam Rank has become a rather infamous personality with the Tennessee Titans’ fanbase after he was originally one of the more reluctant analysts to embrace how good the team truly was a few years back.
Shortly after seeing he was wrong with his past predictions, Rank started to pick the Titans to win nearly every week, even weeks when Tennessee was considered heavy underdogs.
However, it appears that Rank is back to being a skeptic, although this time around the criticism is much more fair than it was from 2019-through-2021.
The NFL analyst has the Titans going 4-13 in his latest preseason predictions (H/T Darren Schaefer on Twitter for the screen grab).
Just shows @adamrank don’t know anything about the #titans!! This crap is very laughable!!! I always love to prove this clown 🤡 wrong !!! #titanup pic.twitter.com/7US0vruhX4

Now, I understand Tennessee has several question marks as of right now, but barring drastic injuries to important players, it’s hard to imagine the Titans being a four-win football team.
No one is claiming they’ll be a slam-dunk playoff team or anything of that nature, but it’s hard to envision a Titans squad with Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, Treylon Burks, Chig Okonkwo and that defense to go 4-13.
The only way that will happen is if things go south early on and the team decides to rip the band aid off in the middle of the year by trading Henry and/or Tannehill to prepare for the future.
Only time will tell how Ranks’ prediction will age, but truthfully you can’t blame any national analyst for not giving the Titans the benefit of the doubt.
