Seven Tennessee track and field athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team Wednesday.
Emily Knight, Uchechi Nwogwugwu, Sarah Schmitt, Nicole Sreenan, Canaan Anderson, Peyton Davis and Dylan Jacobs were honored for for their combined performances in track and within the classroom.
To be nominated for academic all-district honors, student-athletes must achieve sophomore standing, have at least a 3.50 grade point average and competed in at least 50 percent of cross country, indoor track and outdoor track competition in which they are eligible.
All-District nominees advance to the CSC All-America ballot.
First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 28-29.
