Texas Football: Four Longhorns earn top 100 NIL valuation

Longhorn athletes are in a great position to thrive using NIL to their advantage.

Name, Image and Likeness has changed the landscape of college athletics over the past few seasons.

Student athletes can enter into endorsement deals, promote products or services and engage in other activities under the new rules implemented in 2021.

No one was better at promoting their personal brand than former Texas running back Bijan Robinson. Robinson had a multitude of deals including working with Raising Canes, a Lamborghini dealership and even his own brand of mustard.

Others have chosen a different approach to utilizing NIL opportunities.

Texas freshman quarterback Arch Manning has yet to take any NIL money during his time in Austin. He does not plan on that changing until he is a starter at the college level.
