Texas A&M, and nearly every FBS program in the country, are actively recruiting 2024 five-star Edge Colin Simmons out of Duncanville, Texas, who, in his last two seasons with the program, has accumulated 34.5 sacks. Including 33 tackles for loss in 2022. According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Simmons is ranked as the No. 4 player in the 2024 cycle, the No.1-ranked Edge, and the No.1-ranked player in Texas.
Entering his all-important senior season at Duncanville High School, Simmons’s summer is already filled with official campus visits to Miami, Oregon, and Texas, to name a few. In contrast, his unofficial visit to College Station on April 1 has hopefully opened the door for a second visit later this summer or during the 2023 season.

While 247Sports and Rivals both have Simmons landing with LSU, recent images tell a different story; as Duncanville held their annual Spring Game on Wednesday night, Colin Simmons was photographed wearing Texas A&M wristbands, which means something, right? Either way, the Aggies are, and will continue to be, in play for Simmons down the stretch, so even though it’s just a wristband, at least he has the Maroon and White on his mind.
