USA TODAY NBA mock draft has Ohio State forward Brice Sensabaugh in first round

Is this too high, too low, or about where you’d like to see Sensabaugh go? #GoBucks

All indications point to Ohio State basketball forward, Brice Sensabaugh, staying in the 2023 NBA draft, and probably for good reason. The 6-foot, 6-inch forward flashed onto the scene last year as one of the best freshmen in the country, leading OSU in scoring with 16.3 points per game.

He has an NBA body already, and a varied game that can score from multiple spots on the floor. And still, he’s rather raw with a huge upside the NBA scouts and executives will love.

USA TODAY’s Lindsay Schnell, Cydney Henderson, and Jeff Zillgitt ganged up in the latest NBA mock draft, and the trio has Sensabaugh going off the board at No. 21 to the Brooklyn Nets.

“One of the best pure scorers in the draft, Sensabaugh − who surprised many with his immediate production at the college level − is a strong, powerful player who can score in and out of the paint and finish through contact,” the USA TODAY trio wrote.

Sensabaugh is most likely hoping to go higher when the parade of names happen in Brooklyn on June 23, but most everyone has him as a first-rounder, and that has to be a dream come true.
