Yasin Willis will be taking an official visit to Rutgers football in June, the four-star running back announced on Tuesday night.
A class of 2024 recruit from St. Joseph’s Regional (Montvale, N.J.), Willis is the top-ranked recruit in New Jersey according to Rivals. He is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back.
Last season, he had 1,133 rushing yards on 189 carries for 17 touchdowns. He averaged 6.0 yards per carry. He went over 100 yards rushing in seven games this past season.
On Tuesday night, Willis announced that Rutgers will be getting an official visit on the weekend of June 2.

Rutgers football has eight commitments in the 2024 recruiting class, including six on the offensive side of the ball. The most recent verbal was Isaiah Crumpler, a four-star wide receiver from North Carolina.

Three players from New Jersey are currently committed to Rutgers, led by A.J. Surace. A three-star quarterback, Surace is the top-ranked quarterback in New Jersey and the No. 41 quarterback in the nation according to 247Sports.
