Ashley Rogers named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Tennessee pitcher Ashley Rogers named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Lady Vols’ pitcher Ashley Rogers has been named Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Rogers, a graduate student, earned her undergraduate degree in 2022 with a 4.0 grade point average. She earned a degree in kinesiology.

Rogers is pursuing a master’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in biomechanics.

The Lady Vol pitcher is a two-time Co-SIDA Academic All-American and a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. She was named an Easton/NFCA Scholar Athlete three times.

Rogers (15-1) leads the SEC with an 0.76 ERA and appeared in 21 games, including 16 starts. She pitched nine complete games, recording five shutouts, in 100.1 innings.
