Former Dolphins starting OL waived by Giants

He started 13 games for Miami in 2020.

After the 2023 NFL draft, there will be plenty of veterans who will find themselves on the free-agent market due to their roster spot being taken by a rookie.

One player who falls under that category is former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Solomon Kindley, who was waived on Friday by the New York Giants.

Kindley, 25, spent most of the 2022 season on the Giants’ practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract after the year ended.

The former Georgia Bulldog was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2020 draft by the Dolphins. After starting 13 games in his rookie season, Kindley lost his role two weeks into his second season. He still appeared on special teams, but he was no longer a starter.

It will be interesting to see if Kindley can find another opportunity in the NFL, or if this is the end for the big man.
