Michigan State football had one of the most dramatic moments of the Mel Tucker era on Sunday, when three former starters entered the transfer portal. One of those players, cornerback Charles Brantley, has already withdrawn his name from the portal. Now, it looks as if Tucker and his staff are working to keep another starter, star wideout Keon Coleman.
According to a report from Audrey Dahlgren, a reporter for local CBS affiliate WLNS 6, Coleman met with Tucker in his office as recently as Monday. It looks as if Coleman is still in communication with the staff and weighing his options before making any decisions, which is a good sign if the Spartans are trying to keep Coleman in East Lansing as they should be.
Just heard via @AudreyDahlgren that he was in Tucker's office today. If he was *gone* gone, probably wouldn't be.
