The Denver Broncos made a blockbuster trade last spring when they agreed to trade three players and five draft picks to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for quarterback Russell Wilson and a draft pick in return.
In addition to trading three players, Denver sent first-, second- and fifth-round picks in 2022 plus first- and second-round picks in 2023 in exchange for Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round pick.
The Broncos used that fourth-round pick last year to land Iowa State defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike, who had an underwhelming rookie season in 2022. Wilson also had an underwhelming first season in Denver — in fact, it was the worst season of his career so far.
The Broncos will hope that Wilson bounces back in 2023 and Uwazurike steps up as a key contributor in his second season.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, landed eight total players in the trade and after using the final two picks from the trade over the weekend, we now know all eight players that Seattle landed in exchange for Wilson.
Here’s a quick recap.
