Remington Moss offered by Rutgers football during the annual ‘Spring Game’

Remington Moss receives an offer from Rutgers football.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Remington Moss was offered by Rutgers football on Friday during a visit to the Big Ten program.

A defensive back from Virginia,  he counts Power Five offers from Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech among others. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound from St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA).

Last season, he had five interceptions and 16 passes defended, making a mark for the Warriors, who went 9-3 last season.

Moss is projected as one of the top defensive backs in the region. He is aggressive in his coverage and very sound in his positioning and body control:

The class of 2024 is off to a solid start for Rutgers football with five verbals so far. Two defensive players have committed in the last month:

  • three-star defensive tackle Judah Pruitt
  • three-star linebacker Sam Pilof
