Jordan Addison should be special on the field for the Minnesota Vikings. He should be able to produce at a high level within an offense which already has Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn, and T.J. Hockenson.
He certainly made some new fans in Minnesota with his comments in his first media availability session as a member of the Vikings.
Here’s more from Vikings Wire:
“The Minnesota Vikings selected USC wide receiver Jordan Addison at 23rd overall. His selection makes him the direct replacement for Adam Thielen who signed with the Carolina Panthers this offseason.
“He did visit TCO Performance Center on a top-30 visit and the Vikings told him on the way out the door that they were going to take him.
“In speaking with the media after the pick, Addison told reporters as such.
“‘They (Vikings) told me they were going to come grab me.’
“It makes sense with how Addison plays football. He is a very savvy receiver that just understands how to get open. He said this during the press conference.
“’Make plays, catch the ball, score touchdowns.’”
Jordan Addison isn’t here to waste anyone’s time. Fans — at USC and in Minnesota — can appreciate that part of his identity.
