Tuli Tuipulotu is waiting to see where he will go, and where he will play, at the 2023 NFL draft. The fun starts with the first round on Thursday, but Tuipulotu is expected to be a Day 2 pick on Friday, either as a second- or third-round selection.
If you told Tuipulotu right now that he would go to the Chicago Bears with the No. 53 pick, he would probably take it. That’s a second-round draft position offering decent up-front money. Tuipulotu would avoid a fall into the third round and would generally be viewed as a prospect who did not take a big tumble on the draft board.
Going to the Bears, if it happens, would be great for the simple reason that Aaron Rodgers just left the Green Bay Packers in the trade which sent him to the New York Jets. Competing in the NFC North would be more manageable for the USC star. The NFC, after the 49ers, Seahawks, Cowboys, and Eagles, is wide-open in 2023.
There are definitely worse draft scenarios for Tuli Tuipulotu.
