Though the Tigers dropped their first midweek game of the season last week to Louisiana, coach Jay Johnson’s team didn’t let that affect it over the weekend.
The LSU baseball team completed a road sweep against Ole Miss and will now host Alabama at The Box this weekend. First up, however, is another midweek matchup, this time a rematch against Nicholls (22-16).
The two teams faced back on April 4, which resulted in a 12-2 run-rule win for the Tigers (32-7). Since that game, the Colonels lost a series against Incarnate Word but are coming off a sweep against Houston Christian last weekend.
