Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an elite prospect in the 2026 class.
CJ Lavender of Santa Ana, Calif. announced on Friday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. He is a cornerback prospect in the 2026 class and plays for prestigious Mater Dei High.
Lavender is years away from setting foot on a college field but that doesn’t mean some of the game’s biggest programs haven’t already expressed interest in his talents. He now holds offers from Michigan State, Georgia, USC, Penn State, Ole Miss, Colorado, Indiana, Boston College, UConn, San Jose State and UNLV.
I am blessed to say I have recieved an Offer from Michigan State University!! Thank you @CoachEls_MSU for believing in me. #GoGreen #RELENTLESS @CoachTroop3 @MSU_Football @Coach_mtucker @GregBiggins @adamgorney @ChadSimmons_ pic.twitter.com/jCurIk78mH
