Exactly one week from today the 2023 NFL draft will commence. The futures of franchises will be forged and regrets will be made. The Carolina Panthers will likely not be the latter as all signs point to them selecting former Alabama superstar QB, [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag].
In the past week, Young has skyrocketed as the massive betting favorite to go No. 1 overall to the Panthers. Young has the best film of any quarterback in the class, has reportedly been outstanding in his pre-draft meetings and nearly posted a perfect score on the S2 cognition tests.
Young takes his career seriously, but every now and then it’s okay to bask in the fame a bit. Ahead of the draft, Young will appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated NFL draft edition. While he may downplay the significance, every kid grows up dreaming of being the cover athlete for SI.
