The Boston Celtics first round series against the Atlanta Hawks in the 2023 NBA Playoffs is officially set, with a full slate of games scheduled with dates, times and locations having been released by the league.
The Celtics finished the season in the Eastern Conference’s second-place spot with a 57-25 record that earned them the corresponding seed and won them the Atlantic Division as well. The 41-41 Hawks finished with the East’s seventh seed and then defeated the Miami Heat in the 7-8 play-in game to win the right to face Boston in the first round. The Celtics hold home court advantage in the series and are favored to win it as well.
