Michigan State is one of 10 schools still in the running for a big-time defensive lineman prospect in the 2024 class.
Four-star defensive lineman Xadavien Sims released his top 10 schools list on Saturday, and it included Michigan State. The Spartans were joined by Arkansas, Miami (FL), TCU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Oregon and Michigan.
Sims ranks as the No. 16 defensive lineman and No. 121 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 1 player from Oklahoma.
Sims holds offers from more than 20 schools, but Michigan State is considered the current favorite to land his commitment. He has a handful of crystal ball predictions on 247Sports in favor of Michigan State, so hopefully that means the Spartans will land this elite prospect.
