The Arizona Cardinals have many options with their first-round pick in the 2023 NFL. They currently own the third overall pick and could trade back.
They were present for a private workout for one of the best cornerbacks in the draft — Illinois’ Devon Witherspoon.
A photo of several evaluators present for the workout revealed that Cardinals director of player personnel Dru Grigson was there. You can see him in the photo wearing a Cardinals cap.

Witherspoon did not to testing at the NFL combine as he had a hamstring injury. He measured 5-foot-11 1/2 and weighed 181 pounds at the combine.
At his workout, he showed he has more than enough athleticism to play in the NFL, running a 4.42-second 40 at his workout.
He could be in play for the Cardinals, especially if they trade back from the third overall pick.
Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar believes Witherspoon is poised to be the next great cornerback in the NFL.
Whether the Cardinals stay at No. 3 or end up trading back, Witherspoon is a player worth paying attention to.
