With an OPS over 1.000 in four games, Tavian Josenberger was a pretty easy pick for SEC Player of the Week.
The Arkansas outfielder, in his first season with the Diamond Hogs after transferring from Kansas, earned the honor with a massive quadruplet of games. Josenberger slashed .571/.657/1.143 with eight hits, two of which were doubles and two of which were home runs and six RBI.
Arkansas went 3-1 with a series win over Alabama and a one-off victory over Omaha.
Josenberger is third on the team in batting with an average .362 and he leads the team in base-hits and stole bases with 38 and seven, respectively.
The junior is third Arkansas player to earn a weekly award from the SEC this year. His fellow outfielder, Jared Wegner, earned the same honor back on February 24.
Arkansas hosts Arkansas State in Fayetteville on Tuesday before a three-game set at Ole Miss on the weekend.
