Alabama freshman forward Noah Clowney officially declares for 2023 NBA draft

Noah Clowney exceeded his expectations during his freshman season with Alabama, and now the stretch forward has officially declared for the 2023 NBA draft!

After a tremendous freshman season in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Crimson Tide forward Noah Clowney has officially declared for the 2023 NBA draft.

Clowney came to Alabama as a four-star prospect from South Carolina but his play exceeded all expectations in the 2022-23 season.

Playing as Alabama’s stretch four, Clowney averaged 9.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Although those numbers are not highly box-score-altering, Clowney’s ability to knock down the outside shot and his defensive versatility makes him an ideal fit for any NBA franchise.

Clowney is projected to be a late first-round selection in June’s NBA draft. He made his announcement on Twitter earlier on Saturday.
