KaRon Ali was offered by his in-state Power Five program on Thursday. Rutgers football enters what is an increasingly competitive recruitment for Ali.
With Thursday’s news, Ali now holds Power Five offers from Boston College, West Virginia and Rutgers. He also has been offered by Temple. He is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound athlete from Pennsauken, N.J.
This past fall, the freshman had 35 carries for 297 yards with five touchdowns. He also had 24 catches for 395 yards and eight receiving touchdowns.
As a defensive back, Ali also had an interception, two passes defended and a fumble recovery. He tweeted about the Rutgers offer on Thursday, tagging head coach Greg Schiano in the offer:
I am truly blessed and thankful to receive an offer from Rutgers University! 🪓 #CHOP @GregSchiano @CoachShaw__ @PennsaukenFB @NextLevelQBs @adrenalinecoach @PFSkillsAcademy pic.twitter.com/fy6wehGQna
