Bengals WR coach Troy Walters works at SMU pro day

A notable bit of draft work for the Bengals.

One day after Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo made a few waves by attending USC’s pro day, receivers coach Troy Walters did the same.

Onlookers spotted Walters at SMU’s pro day where he worked directly with wide receiver Rashee Rice.

The 6’2″ Rice caught 96 passes for 1,355 yards and 10 touchdowns last year, averaging a gaudy 14.1 yards per catch.

Despite boasting the big three at wideout, the position isn’t out of the question for the Bengals in the upcoming draft. The team likes to draft needs one year in advance (think Dax Hill for Jessie Bates) and Tyler Boyd currently has one year left on his deal — with big money likely going to Ja’Marr Chase and possibly Tee Higgins extensions soon.

As it stands now, keep an eye on Rice.
