Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t played football since winning the Super Bowl with the Rams back in 2022. He hasn’t found a roster since that game.
It looks like he might not find one anytime soon — at least not if NFL teams don’t step their offers up to the former All-Pro wideout.
Beckham has been connected to multiple NFL teams so far during this free agency period — the Jets, the Cowboys and more. He looks healthy and ready to play again. But, apparently, teams are coming to Beckham with what he considers lowball offers.
At least, that’s how his latest tweet makes it seem. Beckham complained about reports saying he was searching for $20 million in free agency.
He took to Twitter to say that isn’t necessarily true — $20 million isn’t a must. But he clearly thinks the $4 million offers he’s getting are too low.
I’m just so confused where the quote is from me tht said I want 20…..😭🙄all I’m sayin is 4 AINT enough

Let’s be honest — NFL teams are cheap. Owners aren’t in the business of overpaying players. The Ravens won’t even pay their former unanimous MVP.
With that in mind, it’s not surprising at all that Beckham isn’t getting a bigger number here. Yes, he’s a very exciting player. But he hasn’t played football in a full season and he’s 30 years old. On top of that, his catch percentage has gradually been on the decline. That’s not a player most teams are willing to shell out big — or even mid-level — cash for.
This probably ends with Beckham taking a one-year “prove it” deal with some team. Which team? That’s what we don’t know yet. We’ll find out soon enough.
