WWE2K23 is set to release in less than a week, and New York Giants tackle Dexter Lawrence is looking forward to it.
At an event last weekend, Lawrence played as WWE Hall of Famer Edge against “The Almighty” Bobby Lashley, both of whom are currently signed to the Raw brand of WWE.
The match, which Lawrence lost, was rated the first official five-star match played in WWE 2K23.
Who played Lashley? Renowned gamer Shakedown2012, who both tweeted a clip and posted a full video of the encounter on his YouTube channel.
Why it got you beating me down đđ. Watch to see what happened hahaha https://t.co/6weuz6MioL

In watching these videos, the graphics are much improved over WWE2K22, the entrances are on-point, and the developers not only continued the MyFACTION gameplay, but have also added scheduled live events throughout the year.
MyFACTION was also given an online feature, whereas the last version was strictly personal, players can now create their dream faction and test it against other players.
Lawrence, who was selected to his first Pro Bowl and named to three different All-Pro teams after the 2022 season, has about a week to hone his skills before the game is officially released. And clearly, he needs to practice after the beatdown Lashley gave Edge in the video.
Check out the WWE2K23 landing page for up-to-date information, including how to pre-order and get the game three days early.
