Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler met with media Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee ahead of the 2023 SEC Tournament.
Zeigler will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season with a torn ACL he suffered on Feb. 28 against Arkansas.
Before his injury, Zeigler was named as one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award. He earned 2023 second-team All-SEC honors and was named to the 2023 SEC All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive season.
Zeigler missed the final game of the season at Auburn, but still finished the regular-season as the league leader in assists and assists per game.
