What is going on with Boston’s Robert WIlliams III?

Will he ever return to the form that made him a living, breathing terror for opposing offenses to encounter in the lane?

Fans of the Boston Celtics were elated to see starting center Robert Williams III back on the court again this season after his second knee surgery in six months. As time passed, however, it became clear that, while a capable big man on the court, the Timelord is very clearly not the explosive pogo stick he was before he hurt his knee.

What happened to Boo Butt? Will he ever return to the form that made him a living, breathing terror for opposing offenses to encounter in the lane? Or is he just taking some time to get his overall health and confidence up?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast debated this subject after an especially mediocre outing from Williams in a loss to the New York Knicks.

Take a look at the clip embedded above and hear what they have to say.
