O’Cyrus Torrence had formal meeting with Bills at 2023 NFL combine

O’Cyrus Torrence had formal meeting with #Bills at 2023 NFL combine:

Florida offensive lineman prospect O’Cyrus Torrence met with the Buffalo Bills at the 2023 NFL combine.

During his press conference from the event, Torrence informed reporters, including WIVB-TV that he had a formal meeting with the team.

Teams are allowed to hold 45 such meetings with prospects at the event and Buffalo tabbed Torrence for one of those slots.

While the Bills have not drafted an offensive lineman in the first round since center Eric Wood in 2009, Torrence has caught some attention in Buffalo early this offseason.

The Bills have struggled, at times, on the interior of their offensive line in recent years. Torrence could help there and he’s tabbed as one of the top guard prospects at the 2023 draft.

In fact, Pro Football Focus has Torrence ranked at No. 27 on their pre-draft big board. That’s the same selection Buffalo holds in Round 1 at the upcoming draft.

On Buffalo’s offensive line depth chart, the team has Ryan Bates and Ike Boettger slated to start in 2023 currently. Rodger Saffold is a pending free agent.

Listed at 6-foot-5, 347 pounds, Torrence had back-to-back strong seasons. PFF graded him an 88.0 in 2022 after marking him at 88.2 the year prior.

Most importantly, Torrence transferred from the Sun Belt Conference to Florida and showed he can hang with the big boys in college. That helped boost his draft stock to the first round.
