Alabama EDGE Will Anderson to participate in some combine drills

The Arizona Cardinals will get to see some of Will Anderson’s testing numbers as the pass rusher will participate in some at the combine.

The NFL turns its attention this week to the NFL combine in Indianapolis, where hundreds of 2023 NFL draft prospects gather for an audition for the league. There will be medical exams, interviews and workouts.

Some of the top prospects in the draft will participate in drills and athletic testing, while others will pass on the opportunity, sometimes opting to only do them at their school’s pro day.

Alabama pass rusher Will Anderson, one of the top prospects in the draft and possibly could be the Arizona Cardinals’ selection with the third overall pick in the draft, is expected to participate in some workouts, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Pelissero reports that Anderson will be included in the linebackers group, which will test Thursday.

Anderson is listed at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds.

He had 27.5 sacks and 48 tackles for loss over the last two seasons for Alabama.
