The Alabama baseball program picked up its fourth win of the season on Tuesday. Brad Bohannon’s squad defeated Tennessee Tech by a final score of 7-4.
Alabama was led offensively by Will Hodo, Andrew Pinckney, and Drew Williamson. The three combined for six hits with five runs batted in.
Pinckney has shined the most for Alabama on the new season. He is hitting over .800 and has been very impactful in the heart of Alabama’s lineup.
On the mound, the Tide pitching staff rendered just two earned runs. The other two runs were unearned.
Relief pitcher Braylon Myers pitched impressively out of the bullpen. He provided 2.2 innings of scoreless relief while allowing only one hit.
Alabama improved to 4-0 while the Golden Eagles fell to 2-2 on the new season. The Tide will return to the Joe for another midweek matchup on Wednesday against Tennessee-Martin. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 CST and will be airing on SEC Network+.
