Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Josh Gordon will be playing in the XFL in 2023.
The XFL recently revealed the full rosters for all eight teams in the league for the upcoming 2023 reboot, and Gordon landed on the roster of the Seattle Sea Dragons.
Tennessee signed Gordon to the practice squad in September last season, but he only appeared in two games and on 24 snaps and didn’t record a reception. He was targeted just once.
After his stint in Tennessee ended in October, Gordon didn’t latch on with another team the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old has seen quite the fall from grace since a breakout 2013 season. Since then, Gordon has battled substance abuse and has received multiple suspensions as a result.

However, when he spoke to Titans media during the season, Gordon revealed that he’s in a “great place”, which was so good to hear after all the issues he had in years past.
“I feel like I’m in a great place,” he said. “I think the past few years probably have been rough on everybody… but I’m blessed to have my family support me and the teams as well. Coach Vrabel, the general manager here, the rest of the teammates, my position coach here; the Titans extended every resource to help me out and I definitely will take them up on that offer. But for now, I’m doing great and I’m enjoying myself here.”
