Kevin Durant is going to yet another NBA team with this shift to the Phoenix Suns.
It’ll be a different era in Durant’s career, but he’s shifting back to something that everyone is used to while transitioning into it. Since going to the Nets, Kevin Durant has been wearing the number 7. He changed his number from 35 after leaving the Warriors, seemingly in an effort to start anew in the twilight of his career.
Now, he’s going back to the Western Conference and he’s switching his number back, too.
The Boardroom announced that Durant’s number would be 35 once the trade becomes official between the Nets and the Suns.

That’s cool to see considering that Durant wore No. 35 for a great reason. The number is in honor of his former AAU coach, Charles Craig, who was shot and killed at 35 years old. He explained that when he announced the switch to 7.

Now, he’s going back. That’s pretty cool to see. Fans are glad to see it.
