Wisconsin offered Peyton Lewis, a 6-foot-1 running back from Salem, Virginia on Wednesday. The 190 pound athlete still has one more season of high school football before he’d potentially join a collegiate program as a member of their class of 2024.
To this point, Lewis has received 17 Division 1 offers, including Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers within the Big Ten. With Braelon Allen going into his third season as the lead back for the Badgers, Wisconsin is certainly looking for their next star moving forward.
As of right now, Wisconsin has secured the commitment of three offensive players in the class of 2024, four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas), four-star tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Illinois) and three-star tight end Robert Booker (Waunakee, Wisconsin).
Grateful to receive my 17th offer from Wisconsin University!🦡🟥@Im_MikeB @CoachSpalding_ @CoachFick @BadgerFootball @CoachHolter0623 @RivalsFriedman pic.twitter.com/rvePdbG32w
