Auburn will begin its run towards another College World Series appearance this month and will have multiple chances to showcase its talents in front of a national audience.
ESPN announced its’ 91-game SEC Baseball broadcast slate on Tuesday. Out of those 91 games, eight of those will feature Auburn.
The Tigers will play six games against SEC foes on national television, including fellow College World Series participant Texas A&M, as well as defending national champion Ole Miss. Auburn’s national television debut will be on Wednesday, March 14 as the Tigers host non-conference rival Georgia Tech at Plainsman Park on SEC Network.
Outside of those eight guaranteed broadcasts, Auburn will have additional chances to gain national exposure. The SEC has introduced a “flex week” for the final weekend of the regular season, May 18-20, in an effort to showcase the most significant final conference series of the season. Auburn is slated to host Missouri at Plainsman Park that weekend. In addition, the SEC Tournament held in Hoover, Alabama will also be televised in its’ entirety from May 23-28.
A majority of Auburn Baseball’s remaining games will also be streamed, as 24 of Auburn’s 26 remaining games can be seen on ESPN+ or SEC Network+.
