The 2025 cycle is still nearly a year away from kicking into high gear, but there’s one player the Tigers really do not want to miss out on in that class, and he’s in their own backyard.
Four-star linebacker/running back [autotag]Keylan Moses[/autotag] — younger brother of former Alabama linebacker and No. 1 overall recruit Dylan Moses — attends University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, which is literally on LSU’s campus.
Moses ranks as the No. 63 overall prospect in the country and No. 3 player in the state of Louisiana, per the 247Sports Composite.
The Tigers missed out on the elder Moses, but it seems coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] has no intention of going 0 for 2 with the Moses brothers. Keylan told On3’s Billy Embody (subscription required) that he feels like he’s been made a priority for LSU’s 2025 class.
He’s been hosted by the program several times, and though he hasn’t taken a visit yet in 2023, he’s expected to attend the Tigers’ Junior Day on March 4. Still, Moses says he is frequently visited by the coaching staff at his school. He also praised Kelly’s recruiting prowess, calling him “confident.”
Moses holds a Crystal Ball to LSU from 247Sports Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, which was placed on Nov. 7, and the Tigers are the heavy favorite on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine at 94.8%.
There’s certainly still time for things to change, but LSU seems to be in a good spot to close things out with one of the top players on its board in 2025.
