After colliding with Dallas Mavericks guard McKinley Wright IV, Steph Curry exited Saturday night’s game at Chase Center with an apparent leg injury. Following his exit, the Warriors announced X-Rays on Curry’s injury was negative, but he would later receive an MRI and not return to the contest against the Mavs on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Warriors announced that Curry’s MRI revealed partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane along with a lower contusion in his left leg. Curry has already been ruled out for Monday’s home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but his overall injury timeline is still being established.

During the 2022-23 season. the nine-time NBA All-Star is averaging 29.4 points on 49.5% shooting from the floor and 42.7% shooting from beyond the arc in 38 games to go along with 6.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 34.6 minutes per contest.
Without Curry, the Warriors will likely lean heavily on Jordan Poole back in the starting lineup alongside Klay Thompson in the backcourt. Donte DiVincenzo, Ty Jerome and Moses Moody could get a chance to step up in the backcourt during Curry’s absence.
The Warriors are slated to host the Thunder on Monday night at 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
