Celtics’ Jaylen Brown named a reserve for the 2023 All-Star Game

It’s official — both Brown and Tatum will represent the Celtics in Salt Lake City for this year’s All-Star week festivities.

Star Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown was named a 2023 All-Star Game reserve by the league on Thursday night. Joining Brown from the Eastern Conference are Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Tyrese Halliburton (Indiana Pacers) and Jrue Holiday (Milwaukee Bucks).

The All-Star reserves from the Western Conference are Paul George (Los Angeles Clippers), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Jaren Jackson Jr and Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers),  Lauri Markkanen (Utah Jazz) and Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings).

Brown will join All-Star starter Jayson Tatum as the Celtics’ representatives this year. It is their second such appearance together.
