The G League’s OKC Blue surprisingly announced it had added Andre Roberson to their roster on Wednesday.
Roberson has been practicing with the Blue for the past month, but there were no serious indications of a potential comeback attempt.

Who knows how far this goes, but it’s good to see Roberson attempt a comeback to professional basketball. The local reaction to the news was very positive as Roberson is beloved by Thunder fans.
Roberson, who last played in NBA game in 2021 withe Brooklyn Nets, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Thunder (2013-2020). A ruptured left patellar tendon in January 2018 essentially ended his NBA career to this point.
Roberson was known as one of the best perimeter defenders of his era, despite a limited offensive ceiling due to being a non-outside shooting threat.
