Kayvon Thibodeaux shouts out Giants fans: So loud I forgot it wasn’t a home game

New York Giants LB Kayvon Thibodeaux said Big Blue fans were so loud in the fourth quarter on Sunday he forgot it wasn’t a home game.

When the New York Giants are playing well, their fans travel in droves.

Never was that more evident than on Sunday evening in Minneapolis as Giants Nation took to U.S. Bank Stadium for a Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Although the “Skol” chants were loud early in the game, things began to change in the second half and, more specifically, the fourth quarter. Suddenly, the Giants were receiving loud cheers and the atmosphere shifted.

Giants players, including rookie edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, took notice.

“I forgot it wasn’t a home game with our loud our fans were at the end. Shout-out to y’all,” Thibodeaux said.

As for Thibodeaux himself, he made sure to hit the Griddy on the Vikings’ logo at midfield after the game, much to the delight of those very same Giants fans.

The Giants will need their fans to travel well again this Saturday night when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round of the NFC Playoffs.
