NFL delays start of Giants-Vikings Wild-Card game

The NFL delayed the start of the Giants-Vikings game because …

The Miami Dolphins-Buffalo Bills AFC Wild-Card Game on Sunday was taking forever, or so it seemed.

The game still had half of the fourth quarter left when the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings were scheduled to kick off on FOX Sports.

It didn’t take long for an executive decision to come down, delaying the game.

Kickoff was pushed 10 minutes and it was scheduled for 4:50 p.m. ET.

The league had to hope the Dolphins and Bills don’t go to overtime, which they didn’t.

Still, the Vikings’ were well on their way on the game’s opening drive when the AFC game finally concluded.
