The Minnesota Vikings are set to host the New York Giants in the Wild Card round at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon with a 3:30 pm central scheduled kickoff.
The kickoff has been pushed back to 3:50 pm central time due to the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills game still having almost 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter just five minutes before the scheduled kickoff.
The National Football League wants each game to have all the attention so they don’t have their viewership split between multiple games at one time.
Kickoff of Giants-Vikings has been pushed back to 4:50 ET, presumably because of the lengthy Dolphins-Bills game that has 9:19 remaining.
