The Boston Celtics (30-12) make the trip to New York City’s Barclay’s Center to face the Brooklyn Nets, their Atlantic Division rival, for the Eastern Conference’s top spot on Thursday.

The game, coming one night after a home win against the New Orleans Pelicans for the Celtics, will not be the pitched battle many were hoping for. Both teams will be without at least one key player and possibly more. It remains a good test of each team’s contender mettle, however.
