Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in Monday night’s Bills-Bengals game and remains in the hospital Tuesday morning where he is listed in critical condition.
Hamlin was given CPR on the field after he collapsed following a hit on Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. He was then rushed to the hospital. Shortly after that the game was postponed.
Once the game was called off, Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs immediately made his way to the hospital and according to ESPN’s Coley Harvey, who was reporting from outside the hospital, Diggs took an Uber to get there as quickly as possible.
This video of Diggs walking into the hospital is pretty powerful.
Stefon Diggs showing up to the hospital to be with his teammate speaks volumes about who he is. No cameras with him. No social media posts. No clout chasing. Just a dude going to be by his teammate’s side#BillsMafia #Bills #GoBills

As an emotional Stefon Diggs told me: “This is all so messed up … we just had to be here for our teammate.” Diggs desperately was trying to tell the officer that he was Hamlin’s teammate and needed to be inside. https://t.co/4MX7suNZtG
