The Boston Celtics have been worried about battling the Milwaukee Bucks for supremacy atop the NBA’s Eastern Conference standings. Perhaps they might want to take a collective glance down the standings for a team that is swiftly rising from the basement, the Brooklyn Nets.
As Kevin Durant and company begin to find their way as a team in ways they haven’t shown much of in previous months, the question of which teams will be at the top of the East standings is looking less certain with each Nets win. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith goes as far as to suggest the Celtics and the Bucks ought to be worried about Brooklyn for the rest of the season.
