Michigan State picked up a massive road victory on Wednesday night in Happy Valley.
The Spartans overcame a rough start and early 10-point deficit to knock off Penn State, 67-58, to snap a two-game losing streak. Michigan State defensively clamped down in the second half and got a career-high 23 points from A.J. Hoggard to pick up the win.
With the victory, Michigan State is 6-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play. Michigan State’s brutal schedule will begin to lighten up over the next few weeks, starting with a home non-conference matchup against Brown on Saturday.
