Former Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland was signed to the Cleveland Browns active roster on Wednesday. He was last a part of the Las Vegas Raiders‘ practice squad.
Ragland entered the NFL after spending four years in Tuscaloosa. He was drafted in the second round by the Buffalo Bills. However, he has bounced around the league over the years. The native of Madison, Alabama has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and New York Giants.
It has been a rough go for the former Alabama captain. However, it will be interesting to see if he can make an impact on the Browns’ defense. He will now be a teammate of former Tide alumnus Amari Cooper, Jedrick Wills, and Ronnie Harrison III.
The #Browns signed LB Reggie Ragland to their active roster from #Raiders practice squad and placed LB Sione Takitaki on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
