Did you think Bills safety Jordan Poyer had an interception against the Patriots?
The man himself certainly does.
In Week 13, the Bills (9-3) defeated the Patriots (6-6), 24-10. The game did not even feel that close, and it could have been slightly worse.
On the Patriots’ first drive of the second half, Poyer appeared to have intercepted quarterback Mac Jones. On the play along the sideline, Poyer clearly got his feet in bounds, but the play was called back as it was determined he did not haul in the pass.
Two plays later the Patriots punted.
That ensuing drive for the Bills? A touchdown.
All’s well that ends well… but Poyer would’ve wanted another INT added to his stat column. He made that clear.
“That’s a catch to me,” Poyer said. “What is a catch nowadays?”
